HELP US RAISE MONEY ON KICKSTARTER THROUGH THE POWER OF TUMBLR.

Increasing huge agri-business pushing small farms into bankruptcy, burgeoning bottom lines of school districts?
What we eat and how we eat food matters – now more than ever! According to the New England Journal of Medicine, with 17% of children diagnosed with obesity and over 35.8% of the U.S. population diagnosed with diabetes, we as a nation will spend over $147 billion annually on obesity and food related illnesses.
This has become a national epidemic and it is tipping scales in the wrong direction. We are the youth of today, and we stand for the generations of tomorrow. It is time for education to meet implementation in order to affect change.

Planted as an idea in the spring of 2011, The What’s For Lunch Project is a collaboration of young filmmakers, journalists, artists, and activists with a mission to educate and implement change from the ground level, where it matters most, in the school lunch systems.
It is a movement led by today’s rising generation. A pilot documentary, websites and articles on the evolution and revolution on the way we eat both in school and out, and an explosion of other related info and resources on local sustainability.
